Great Migration

The annual wildebeest migration takes place in the Masai Mara, Kenya and the Serengeti, Tanzania. It is known as the “Great Migration” and is one of the most iconic events in Africa. One of the largest obstacles the migrating animals face is the mighty Mara River.

Through a combination of telephoto video clips and wide-angle time-lapse sequences, we aim to illustrate the scale and drama of this incredible spectacle. We have never before seen a wildebeest river crossing recorded in this way... as far as we know, this could be the first time that time-lapse has been used to reveal the dynamics of a wildebeest river crossing.

Oulu osa 2

Alapealkirjaga optiline illusioon.

Oulu osa 1

Start Tartust oli kolme ja nelja vahel esmaspäeva hommikul. Pool kaheksa lahkus laev Tallinnast Helsingi suunas, kust edasi võtsime eesmärgiks tutvuda Soome kiirteede olukorraga, mida saime tunda kuueni õhtul, mil jõudsime Oulusse.

Teisipäeval tuuritati meid Oulu ametikoolis ringi. Näidati seadmeid ja klasse ja kohvikut.

Kolmapäeval kästi kuulata, mida ehituseriala õpilased olid kokku pannud infot Oulu ja Soome kohta, ning meie pidime rääkima Eestist ja Tartust. Seejärel töötunked selga ja sõidutati ehitusplatsile. Oulu ametikooli õpilased ehitavad kokku 9 maja, milles saavad praktiliselt kõik isetegijad midagi meisterdada - tislerid, elektrikud, müürsepad, maalrid jne - ja siis müüakse need majad (heausksetele) maha.

Neljapäeval panime kokku kilbi mingi kutsevõistluse joonise järgi, mis erines meie kodusest asjandusest programmeeritava relee poolest.

Reedel (täna) viidi meid Ponsse vabrikusse, 200 km Oulust. Teadjamad juba said aru, aga teistele infoks, et nägime, kuidas tehakse metsatraktoreid ja harvestere.
